ADRIANA NASSIFF
Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Adriana received a Bachelors degree in Mass Communications and a Masters degree in Journalism. She commenced her dancing career with ballet and flamenco at the early age of five. Due to her family roots from Lebanon, she felt compelled to begin studies in Middle Eastern dance when she was 13 years old. Adriana moved from Colombia to Miami in 2001 and throughout the past 9 years, has strengthened her dance technique in varied forms of dance by participating in several National Belly Dance Shows and by attending a myriad of intensive courses and seminars. Prior to her move to the U.S., she was a member of the flamenco company "Triana," in Colombia from 1999 to 2001. Continuing with her passion for dance, she auditioned and was chosen for the 2003 version of "Duende," a Spanish ballet with the Florida Dance Festival, directed by the internationally accredited Rosa Mercedes. Adriana also obtained certification in Los Angeles for the new high energy, Latin aerobic style called "Zumba."

She has also participated in numerous activities within the cultural world such as being a guest on a Telemundo show, musical videos, commercials and the opening of the show "Frecuencia" - a TV show from Emilio Estefan Productions, amongst others.

AIDA AMALIA VILLOCH
Is an internationally acclaimed ballerina and Master Ballet teacher. Born in Havana, Cuba she was hand picked at a very young age to study at the Provincial School of Ballet in Havana and later graduated from the National School of Arts in 1972. Shortly, thereafter she joined the National Ballet of Cuba and toured with the company globally to such places as: France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, China, Eastern Europe and Latin America. In 1975, she accompanied Fernando Alonso, who formed The Ballet of Camaguey in Cuba and later obtained the esteemed and elusive title of "prima ballerina," until 1993. She partnered with Jorge Esquivel and worked with such infamous choreographers as; Jorge Lefebre, Alicia Alonso and Ana Leontieva to name a few. Aida was a principal dancer in Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quijote, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliette and Coppélia amongst, many more. During her illustrious career she won a devoted following and critical acclaim in the international arena as a dancer of extraordinary posture, exemplary technique with an innate ability to interpret the artistic beauty of dance. Since moving to the United States, she has been teaching at several dance academies; Ballet Concerto, International Ballet Academy, Academy of Arts and most importantly with us, as part of the Dancing in XS family. We are very happy and honored to have her on board.

 

MONICA VILLAR
Completed most of her dance training at Ballet Etudes Company of South Florida. She danced at Palm Springs Middle, Hialeah High as well as with the dance company at Miami Dade College, winning numerous state and national awards.

She continues to dance for Ballet Etudes, as a soloist, and with the Dance Theater of Miami. Additionally, Monica coaches the dance teams at Everglades K-8 center and Hialeah High. She obtained her Associates degree in Dance from Miami Dade College and is currently attending Florida International University working toward her Bachelors degree in Journalism and Education.

ALBERTO PENA JR
Alberto Pena Jr has been an active and passionate dancer for seven years, throughout which his love and technique have both grown simultaneously and in direct correlation of one another. During his career, he has danced professionally for Ballet Etudes of South Florida, Dance Theatre of Miami, DJB Dance Theatre and most recently with Royal Caribbean International.

Alberto's work holds two consecutive national titles for his choreographies at Dancing Inxs. He earned his Associate Degree in Dance from Miami Dade College, where he also danced for the schools, "Jubilation Dance Ensemble."

Alberto plans to obtain his Master's Degree in Dance and pursue a lifetime of learning and artistic expression through the medium of dance.

PATRICIO SUAREZ
Is a graduate from New York University with a Masters degree in Higher Education and Administration with emphasis in Dance Education & Performance.

He received his Bachelors degree from Florida International University after attending New World School of the Arts. He is the Artistic Director and Founder of Dance Theater of Miami, the Director of Dance at Robert Morgan High School and the Director of the Fierce Dance Team at Miami Dade College.

Patricio recently completed his 2nd Masters degree to become an Assistant Principal for the Miami Dade County Public School System. This is his 4th recital with Dancing InXs as the Director/Coach of the Junior & Senior Teams. He is honored to be part of such an amazing and inspiring studio.

All our teachers have extensive professional dance backgrounds. They either majored in dance in college and/or attended performing arts schools in the Miami City area.

They continue their dance education by attending dance seminars and master dance classes. They continue to grow in dance and constantly challenge their students to be more versatile with new and innovative dance moves
